Delivered in 1978, Calypso is a 38.4m classic yacht for sale built by Dutch shipyard Feadship. Her naval architecture and exterior design comes from the drawing boards of De Voogt, while In Design is responsible for her interior design.

Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 7.44m beam and a 2.4m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 283 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Calypso offers accommodation for up to 10 guests in 5 suites comprising an owners cabin, 1 VIP cabin, 2 double cabins and 1 twin cabin. She is also capable of carrying up to 8 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (D379) 600hp engines, motor yacht Calypso is capable of reaching a top speed of 13 knots, and comfortably cruises at 10 knots. With her 44,668 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 7,000 nautical miles at 10 knots.
Amenities
A gym with all the latest equipment allows her guests to keep their workout routines while at sea. In addition, a swim platform is on hand for guests looking to cool off in the sea. Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort. Crowning the yacht is a spacious sundeck with an inviting spread of sunpads and deck jacuzzi which provides excellent views.

With the goal of taking their young family on an extended around-the-world trip, her current owners installed twin sets of bunk beds in the original VIP cabin, a small nanny/teacher’s cabin and a main deck library.
