Delivered in 2008, Far From It is a 142' motor yacht built by Richmond Yachts. Her naval architecture and exterior design comes from the drawing boards of Setzer Design Group, while Pavlik Design Team is responsible for her interior design.

Design & Construction
Designed around a semi-displacement GRP hull and superstructure she features a 28' beam and a 7'3" draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 397 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Exterior Design
The exterior design of the Far From It yacht features a white hull and superstructure with teak cappings on the foredeck, complemented by a flared raked bow. The clean lines and practical layout are evident throughout the vessel.
At the stern, a large teak swim platform provides easy access to the water. A centrally located ladder enhances this area, with engine access and curved staircases leading up to the aft deck. The covered aft deck includes a wet bar and a sizable seating area with a high-low table, offering a practical space for relaxation or dining.
Moving up to the bridge deck aft, there is a seating area, ideal for casual gatherings. This deck also contains a custom teak dining table capable of seating 10 guests, a wet bar, and a grill. The hardtop offers shade and protection from the elements.
The sun deck is equipped with storage for water toys, including a 5.7-meter RIB and two jet skis, which can be launched to convert this space into a sun lounging area. A 60-jet hot tub and a 50-inch flat screen are centrally located, providing entertainment options. Additional amenities include a half-moon-shaped bar with stools, a fridge, and an ice maker. Dining areas and a large sunbed offer further options for relaxation and dining under the sun.
Interior Design
The main salon features mahogany joinery and molding, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The seating area is composed of two custom sofas and two armchairs, arranged around a 52-inch flat-screen TV, providing a relaxed setting for socializing or entertainment.
In the galley, practicality reigns with stainless steel appliances, including two large side-by-side Sub-Zero refrigerators, a steamer oven, dishwashers, two drawer freezers, and two wall ovens. This well-equipped kitchen features an entertainment system and a banquette seating area for up to five people, allowing guests to enjoy the cooking process alongside the chef.
The Sky Lounge is designed for comfort and leisure, with a large white fabric sofa and two matching lounge chairs positioned around a cocktail table. The lounge also includes a card table and a granite bar with four bar stools, offering additional space for relaxation or informal gatherings.
The pilothouse features a leather settee with a mahogany inlaid table, providing a comfortable vantage point to enjoy the view. Equipped with a Stidd chair and advanced Simrad electronics, the pilothouse is designed for efficient navigation and operation.
Accommodation
The Far From It yacht offers accommodation for up to 12 guests across six well-appointed staterooms, each featuring a private bath. The main deck owner's suite presents a centered king bed, complemented by a lounge area and a vanity. The owner suite also includes separate ensuites; one with a dual-head steam shower, and the other with a jacuzzi tub and bidet.
On the lower deck, four guest staterooms provide ample accommodation. The forward starboard stateroom features a twin bed setup with an ensuite stall shower. Opposite, the port-side stateroom houses a queen bed with a similar ensuite configuration. The two aft staterooms mirror each other, each offering a queen bed and an ensuite with a shower-tub combination.
Additionally, the yacht includes a sixth stateroom located just aft of the pilothouse on the port side. This private VIP suite boasts expansive views and an ensuite bath, ensuring a comfortable stay for all aboard.
Crew accommodations for up to eight are accessible through the galley and a discreet door on the lower deck, ensuring seamless operation and service throughout the journey.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (C-32) 1,800hp engines, motor yacht Far From It is capable of reaching a top speed of 17 knots, and comfortably cruises at 12 knots. With her 11,299 gallon fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 3,455 nautical miles. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters. Her semi-displacement hull design means she offers a great balance of space and speed.
