Design & Construction

Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 13.4m beam and a 3.4m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 2,265 GT (Gross Tonnes).

The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards. Launched in August 2023 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in April 2024.

Exterior Design

Feadship yacht Alvia presents a striking profile with a white hull and superstructure. The raked bow flares upwards to a sleek elongated foredeck and a line that flows cleanly to the aft of amidships, where the line curves and descends to meet the waterline at the transom. A continuous bank of glazing spans much of the yacht's length, inviting natural light into the interiors on which design studio RWD, who designed the exterior styling, worked in collaboration with Susan Young Interiors.

The hull features spaced pairs of portholes with two banks of four adding visual interest. Topside openings towards the aft feature three pairs of portholes and will open to reveal and expand a beach club, in addition to tender launching areas.

The deck levels are rounded providing canopy shade over the aft deck guest areas. The curvature that features so boldly from the foredeck to the transom's water level, is followed above, from the upper deck to the sundeck creating a dynamic forward motion aesthetic. From the main deck aft, twin teak stairways flare as they reach the bathing platform, and guide the guests to the water's edge. Twin stairways are featured further, maintaining a sense of fluidity throughout the deck levels.

A striking feature crowning the yacht is the prominent navigation and communication mast, characterized by its backward rake and topped with black carbon.

Interior Design

The interior design of Alvia focuses on creating an understated yet elegant atmosphere through the use of high-quality materials and thoughtful layout. A neutral color palette of whites, taupe, and ecru is complemented by dark woods and gold.

The yacht features a cinema room equipped with a 98-inch screen, offering an immersive experience for film enthusiasts. The bridge deck includes an outdoor cinema with an 85-inch screen and a unique LED feature wall.

The owner's deck includes a massage and beauty salon, allowing guests to enjoy spa treatments in a private setting. The wellness center on the lower deck offers an infrared sauna, steam room, and plunge pool, catering to various relaxation needs. The alfresco gym, situated under the glass-walled pool, includes a fold-down sea balcony for workouts with ocean views.

For social gatherings, several lounges and salons are available. The owner’s bar and lounge offer a space for casual pre-dinner drinks. The aft lounge, with an outdoor firepit, provides a cozy atmosphere for evening gatherings. The open-air lounge adjacent to the dining area is ideal for enjoying after-dinner conversations.

Accommodation

The yacht Alvia offers accommodation for up to 12 guests in seven suites comprising an owner's cabin, two VIP cabins and two double cabins.  The owner’s deck is highlighted by a master suite that features floor-to-ceiling wraparound glass, providing an immersive view of the surroundings. This suite includes direct access to the foredeck, a massive oval skylight, separate his-and-hers en suites and dressing rooms, and a private office with a fold-down balcony.
