The 31.08m motor yacht Genoa was delivered to her owners in 2019 by Italian shipyard Sanlorenzo. Her interior design and exterior styling comes from the drawing boards of Zuccon, while Sanlorenzo is responsible for her naval architecture.

Key Features

  • Asymmetrical design with single side deck
  • Sundeck offers additional lounging spaces
  • Master cabin with 180-degree forward-facing views
  • Accordion glass doors and fold-out balcony

Design & Construction

Designed around a planing GRP hull and superstructure she features a 7.06m beam and a 1.9m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 180 GT (Gross Tonnes).

This was the first yacht built on the SL102 Asymmetric design. She was completed at Sanlorenzo's Viareggio yard in Italy where she was commissioned and delivered to her owners.

Exterior Design

The exterior design of Genoa is marked by its raked bow and asymmetrical layout. The superstructure features a side deck to starboard, while the main saloon and master cabin windows remain flush with the hull to port, eliminating the need for a side deck on that side. This design choice optimizes internal space and provides uninterrupted views from the port side.

Twin staircases at the transom lead down to the swim platform, allowing easy access for the crew to manage mooring lines and bollards efficiently. These symmetrical staircases enhance the yacht's functionality and practicality.

The main aft deck is equipped with a generously sized dining table, suitable for outdoor dining. Moving upwards to the sundeck, guests will find additional lounging areas designed for relaxation and unobstructed views.

Interior Design

The interior design of the yacht Genoa emphasizes functionality and sleek aesthetics. The saloon is a prime example, featuring a double-L seating area to starboard and an oval-shaped dining table to port. Accordion-style folding glass doors open to the aft deck, while a fold-out balcony to starboard enhances the sense of openness. The contemporary design of the saloon includes two spacious sofas positioned opposite each other around a crafted coffee table. Adjacent to this seating arrangement is a compact circular table for intimate dining. Expansive sliding windows ensure ample natural light and a direct connection with the main aft deck.

The helm station is meticulously organized, featuring advanced navigation and control systems. The ergonomic design of the helm ensures that all controls are within easy reach, promoting ease of operation and enhanced safety. The instrumentation is clearly visible, and the seating is designed for comfort during extended periods of navigation.

Throughout the yacht, materials have been chosen for their durability and aesthetic appeal. Light-toned wooden ceilings and neutral-toned decor are prevalent, creating a sophisticated yet understated ambiance. The combination of these materials not only enhances the visual appeal but also ensures a robust and resilient interior.

Accommodation

Genoa accommodates 10 guests in five well-appointed cabins. The master cabin, strategically positioned forward on the main deck, features a forward-facing window above the bedhead, offering 180-degree views. The interior design ensures more than two meters of headroom throughout, creating an open atmosphere. The interplay of light-toned wooden ceilings and neutral-toned decor enhances the room's elegant ambiance.

The remaining four guest cabins are located on the lower deck, providing ample space and privacy for additional guests. Crew quarters are also available, accommodating up to three crew members, ensuring that guests receive top-notch service during their stay.

She is also capable of carrying up to five crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
