Design & Construction

Designed around a displacement w/ bulbous bow steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 30'10" beam and a 10'6" draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 468 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Construction started in late 2015. This was the fourth yacht built on the 460Exp design. Launched in April 2018 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was completed at Sanlorenzo's La Spezia yard in Italy where she was commissioned and delivered to her owners in June 2018.

Exterior Design

Delivered in 2018 as the fourth and final hull in the 460Exp series, Globas stands out as a 42.8-metre (140.4ft) explorer yacht that combines safety, spaciousness, and self-sufficiency in a format tailored for long-range cruising. Designed by Paszkowski, her aesthetic is purposeful yet refined, underscored by a light silver hull that accentuates her explorer DNA.

Thanks to her limited draught and bulbous bow, Globas is highly efficient at sea, consuming less fuel while remaining agile in confined or shallow waters. Her seakeeping has been enhanced beyond the original 460Exp design with the addition of hydraulic stabilisers, a slightly deeper draft, and an extended keel section - all contributing to improved cruising stability in varying conditions.

A standout feature of the yacht’s layout is her forward-set superstructure, which opens up a versatile aft deck space on the main deck. This area is purpose-built to carry a wide array of adventurous tenders and water toys, including waverunners, submersibles, and even seaplanes - all easily deployed via a substantial deck crane. Meanwhile, the foredeck offers additional room for guests to gather or relax.

The sun deck acts as a social hub, fitted with an open-air dining space under a hardtop for up to 12 guests. A raised Jacuzzi and sun loungers occupy the forward section, while aft sits a fully equipped sit-up bar with a Teppanyaki grill and dumb waiter. Steps connect this space to the upper deck, making circulation easy throughout the exterior areas.

At the stern, the lazarette has been transformed into a beach club, complete with a massage room and dayhead. The transom folds down to create a spacious swim platform - a launch zone for the yacht’s many toys and an easy-access spot for sea-level relaxation.

Globas features a bulbous bow, limited draught, and silver hull for efficient performance and enhanced cruising stability.

Interior Design

Inside, Globas is defined by her modern, calming interior scheme. A palette of greys, browns, and soft stone tones creates a restful atmosphere throughout. High ceilings and open-plan layouts contribute to a sense of volume, enhanced by the large windows found across multiple decks.

The sky lounge is particularly striking, featuring full-height windows and sliding glass doors that frame uninterrupted sea views. This space is both stylish and serene - perfectly suited for relaxed conversation or quiet reflection on extended voyages. The interior layout and finishes align closely with the expansive feel that characterises the 460Exp series.

The main deck also features a striking glass-sided pool located forward, adding a luxurious focal point to the interior-exterior flow.

Accommodation

The luxury yacht Globas offers well-appointed accommodations with a total of five guest cabins, the yacht can comfortably accommodate up to 12 guests.

The full-beam owner's suite is located on the main deck. This suite offers an expansive space, providing a private and serene retreat for the principal guest. The design ensures that the owner enjoys the utmost privacy and comfort, with ample storage and en-suite facilities.

In addition to the owner's suite, Globas features four well-appointed guest cabins located on the lower deck. Each cabin is designed to offer a comfortable stay, with en-suite bathrooms and sufficient storage space, ensuring that all guests experience a high level of comfort and convenience during their time onboard.

Globas is also capable of carrying up to 8 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
