This was the third yacht built on the Oceano 44 design. Launched in September 2023 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months.
Exterior Design
The exterior design of the Half Irish yacht, crafted by Alberto Mancini, reflects a departure from traditional Mangusta sports cruisers. This 44-meter vessel is characterized by a robust steel hull, engineered for long-distance cruising with a range of 4,500 nautical miles. The design incorporates two hot tubs, including a unique island-style infinity tub on the bridge deck, providing innovative use of space and enhancing onboard leisure experiences. The yacht's bridge deck is notable for its flexible lounging area, enhanced by frameless glass balustrades that ensure unobstructed views and a strong connection to the surrounding water.
Moving to the sun deck, it offers a blend of relaxation and practicality with its bar area, complete with seating and amenities such as a grill and sink. The sundeck is designed for easy movement, with access from both sides, enhancing the flow around the yacht. A pop-up television near a round table under the hardtop adds to the utility of this outdoor space, which can be used for both socializing and sunbathing.
Half Irish also has a beach club with glass in the ceiling that features a bar and socialising area close to the waterline.
Interior Design
A key feature is the use of floor-to-ceiling windows throughout Half Irish, which ensures ample natural light and offers expansive views of the surrounding sea. This design choice is complemented by a bright color palette, which is punctuated by backlit marble and blue paneling on vertical surfaces.
The main deck saloon is equipped with comfortable sofas and a large living area, finished with hardwood floors transitioning into softer textures near seating areas. The dining area, located amidships, features a 12-person table with a distinctive black marble centerpiece. Overhead lighting details enhance the ambiance of this space, which connects efficiently to the galley through a sliding door. The galley itself is well-appointed, emphasizing practicality and ease of use for the crew.
In the upper saloon, manual sliding doors offer the option to fully open both sides, allowing for enhanced ventilation and uninterrupted views. The frameless glass balustrades provide an unobstructed connection with the water, adding to the open feel of the space. This saloon also hosts hidden storage solutions for glassware and a large television, making it a flexible area for relaxation and entertainment.
The helm is equipped with four screens displaying a mix of live navigation and weather data, supported by an array of controls for the boat's systems. The bridge offers practical features like wing stations on both sides, allowing the skipper to maneuver the yacht with ease during docking.
Accommodation
The luxury yacht Half Irish has well-appointed accommodations for up to 10 guests in 5 suites. The owner's suite is a standout feature, offering a spacious and well-designed area with ample storage options. This suite includes a walk-in wardrobe and a luxurious bathroom clad with Italian marble, featuring separate sinks and a large shower. The suite also boasts floor-to-ceiling windows and also has its own private balcony, offering an exclusive outdoor area that can be accessed with ease.

Each cabin is equipped with a private bathroom, featuring high-quality fixtures and finishes. The cabins also include modern amenities such as an integrated AV system with iPad controls for lighting, climate, and entertainment.
For the crew, accommodation is provided in designated quarters, for up to nine. The crew area includes a mess with a seating area and essential facilities to support daily operations. The luxury yacht Half Irish is equipped with twin diesel MTU (12V 2000 M86) 1,700hp engines, this yacht achieves a top speed of around 15 knots, providing a blend of power and efficiency suited for both leisure and long-distance navigation.
Half Irish has an extensive cruising range of 4,000 nautical miles at a speed of 11.5 knots. This capability makes it an ideal choice for extended voyages, allowing for seamless travel across vast distances without the need for frequent refueling stops.
