L'Equinox is a 37.3m motor yacht delivered by Dutch shipyard Heesen in 2006. Her naval architecture and exterior design comes from the drawing boards of Heesen, while Omega Architects is responsible for her interior design.
Design & Construction
Designed around a semi-displacement aluminium hull and superstructure she features a 7.12m beam and a 2.2m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 245 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Construction started in early 2005. Launched in August 2006 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in October 2006.
Accommodation
L'Equinox offers accommodation for up to 10 guests in 5 suites comprising an owners cabin, 3 VIP cabins and 1 twin cabin. She is also capable of carrying up to 6 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel MTU (16V 4000 M90) 16-cylinder 3,697hp engines, motor yacht L'Equinox is capable of reaching a top speed of 31 knots, and comfortably cruises at 22 knots. With her 35,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 3,685 nautical miles at 12 knots. Her semi-displacement hull design means she offers a great balance of space and speed.
