Delivered in 2020, LEL is an award winning 49.7m motor yacht built by Italian shipyard Rossinavi. Her interior design and exterior styling comes from the drawing boards of LUCA DINI Design & Architecture, while Arrabito Naval Architects is responsible for her naval architecture.
Design & Construction
Designed around a fast displacement aluminium hull and superstructure she features a 9m beam and a 2.6m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 499 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Construction started in late 2017 with the keel laid under the project name 'Ellelle'. Launched in January 2020 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in July 2020.
Exterior Design
LEL's distinctive profile is underscored by its unique deck configuration, which features an aft deck sitting an imposing 90 centimetres above the main deck, ensuring utmost privacy and a commanding presence.
This elevation not only contributes to the yacht's striking aesthetic but also enhances the on-board experience by providing a secluded lounge on the aft deck, sheltered from the curious eyes of onlookers. LEL's upper deck veranda further exemplifies the concept of fluid living spaces. Here, guests can indulge in an indoor-outdoor living room experience, where the aft veranda can be completely enclosed with sleek glass doors, allowing for al fresco dining irrespective of the weather conditions. The yacht's dynamic silhouette boasts sporty and sharp exterior lines that reflect LEL's high-performance capabilities. Interior Design
Upon entering the main salon, guests are immediately enveloped by an atmosphere characterized by natural light, thanks to the expansive full-height windows which were made larger at the owner's request. This design choice amplifies the sense of spaciousness and offers unobstructed views of the surrounding seascape. The nearly neutral color palette used throughout the interior further enhances the brightness of the space, while reflective materials and strategically placed lighting add to the serene ambiance.
The main salon is furnished with a refined selection of Italian-designed pieces from acclaimed brands like Minotti, Armani/Casa, and Poltrona Frau, ensuring both comfort and style. The furnishings are complemented by soft goods from Loro Piana and Tai Ping, which provide a luxurious tactile experience. The seating arrangement is thoughtfully designed with low-profile sofas flanked by mirrored side tables and accented with vibrant magenta velvet armchairs, striking a balance between form and function.
A standout feature within the main salon is the forward bulkhead adorned in black and gold tiger's eye marble, which echoes the opulent black dining room table surrounded by tan leather director's chairs. This feature wall not only serves as a dramatic focal point but also embodies the owner's appreciation for natural beauty, as seen in the exquisite veining of the marble and onyx used throughout LEL.
Accommodation
LEL offers sumptuous living quarters for up to 12 guests across six beautifully appointed cabins, ensuring that each guest experiences the pinnacle of nautical elegance.
The main deck is home to the full-beam owner's suite, a sanctuary of luxury that blends spaciousness with magnificent views. The suite extends out onto an integrated balcony, perfect for private moments gazing out to sea or enjoying the tranquility while in port. The suite's bathroom is a marvel of design, boasting full-beam glass walls, a freestanding silver-coated bathtub, and finishes in white and grey onyx, accented by under-lit counters, which together create a serene spa-like environment.
Adjacent to the owner's suite lies a VIP cabin, accessible directly from the owner's lobby. This cabin is designed for flexibility, allowing the owner the option to utilize this additional space as needed. On the lower deck, guests will find four more cabins, each crafted with the same meticulous attention to detail and comfort. Among these are a double cabin, a twin berth cabin, and two additional guest cabins designed with a unique flexibility in mind. The aft guest cabins can be transformed into a singular expansive VIP suite by sliding open a connecting wall. This innovation offers the option of a private lounge alongside the bedroom, exemplifying the yacht's commitment to versatility and guest satisfaction.
LEL's accommodations also extend to the crew, ensuring that every member of the service team of up to 9 has their own dedicated space from which they can provide the impeccable service that guests aboard this magnificent vessel deserve. Performance & Capabilities
At the core of LEL's impressive performance are twin MTU (12V 4000 M93L) engines that deliver a combined power of 10,000 horsepower, facilitating a cruising experience that is both powerful and smooth. The owner's penchant for speed is well-served with a vessel designed to reach the swift pace of 22 knots, while on sea trials, LEL has demonstrated her capability to exceed expectations, reaching upwards of 25 knots.
