Design & Construction

Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 28'10" beam and a 10'2" draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 525 GT (Gross Tonnes).

The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards.

Exterior Design

The yacht's design exudes timeless elegance, despite being over 40 years old, and having benefited from a refit in 2008. Characterized by a striking white hull and superstructure, the classic style is evident in the covered walkways with open bulwarks, revealing large windows that flood the interior with light.

A distinctive feature is the nest of five large portholes on the main deck forward, drawing attention to the slightly upward rise of the main deck towards the flared bow. The foredeck serves a utilitarian purpose for mooring and deck equipment, leading to a steep rise towards the profile of the upper deck, where sloping windows angled backward provide clear visibility from the navigation area. The sundeck overhang offers additional shade to the bank of windows.

The hull is adorned with numerous small portholes, breaking the expanse of the hull and illuminating the lower interior spaces with natural light. The upper deck serves as storage for tenders and safety equipment, as well as providing some guest space. The main deck aft is the primary exterior guest relaxation area, open to the sides and sheltered by the deck canopy above.

The use of wood for the handrails adds a touch of warmth and classical elegance to the yacht's aesthetic, enhancing the experience of strolling around the deck.

Accommodation

The yacht accommodates up to 16 guests and 13 crew members onboard. Upholding a private profile, no photographs have ever been shared in the public domain, preserving the exclusivity and confidentiality of the vessel.

Powered by twin diesel Deutz (BA 6M 528) 1,040hp engines, motor yacht Michaela Rose is capable of reaching a top speed of 16 knots, and comfortably cruises at 14 knots. She has a maximum range of 3,800 nautical miles at 14 knots.
