Delivered in 1990, Penelope is an award winning 123' expedition yacht built by American shipyard Delta Marine. Delta Marine is responsible for the complete look and feel of the superyacht, having created the interior design, exterior styling and naval architecture.
Design & Construction
Designed around a displacement composite hull and superstructure she features a 28'10" beam and a 10'2" draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 340 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Accommodation
Penelope offers accommodation for up to 10 guests in 5 suites comprising an owners cabin, 2 double cabins and 1 twin cabin. She is also capable of carrying up to 6 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (3412 DITA) 623hp engines running at 1800rpm, motor yacht Penelope is capable of reaching a top speed of 13 knots, and comfortably cruises at 11 knots. With her 20,000 gallon fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 6,500 nautical miles at 10 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters.
