Design & Construction

Designed around a displacement steel hull and superstructure she features a 27'4" beam and a 7'9" draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 456 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Exterior Design

R23 features a raked bow, designed to cut through water efficiently and provide a smooth ride. The deck is made of teak, a durable and weather-resistant material that adds a touch of classic elegance. The hull and superstructure are both painted white, creating a clean and cohesive look. The boot top and the area below the waterline are finished in black, adding a striking contrast to the overall design.

R23 was elongated by six meters, creating additional space and enhancing its overall liveability. This extension includes a versatile swim platform that serves as a beach area, providing easy access to the engine room via a watertight door.

The cockpit area, benefiting from the hull extension, is sheltered by the upper deck, ensuring usability in various weather conditions. This space features a salon with light-colored rattan furniture and teak flooring, seamlessly integrating with the interior design. The use of tinted glass for the sliding door separating the cockpit from the salon adds a touch of modernity while maintaining privacy.

The upper deck houses a modern bridge equipped with a console featuring eight multifunctional touch-screens and various instruments on the dash. The bridge area also includes two helmsman's seats, a chart table, and a sofa. A 360-degree walk-around deck offers two tables with parasols and twin sofas, providing comfortable outdoor seating options. The bow area is reserved for the stowage of three RIB tenders and a jet-ski, ensuring all water activities are catered for.

A sailboat-style stairway in teak and steel leads to the topmost deck. This area is designed for relaxation, featuring a foldout table, large sofas, a galley unit, a solarium area with a sundeck, a Jacuzzi, and teak sunbeds. The predominantly white finish of the yacht is complemented by the warmth of the teak flooring and wood furniture, creating a pleasant and functional outdoor environment.

Interior Design

The main salon of the R23 yacht is designed to be a bright and spacious area. It features a clean palette with vibrant accents in mustard yellow. This space is decorated with pictures and plants, creating a homely environment suitable for all ages. The large sofa seating is ideal for coffee mornings and relaxing after a day of exploration. The formal dining area can accommodate up to 10 guests, offering a minimalist and elegant setting.

The bridge deck skylounge serves as an alternative retreat. Here, guests can curl up on the sofa and watch a film on the widescreen TV. The bridge deck aft features an alfresco dining area, perfect for evening meals. Forward on the bridge deck, L-shaped sofas provide a comfortable spot for nighttime conversations under the stars.
