The 29.16m expedition yacht Santandrea was delivered to her owners in 1961 by Cantieri Navali Solimano. Her naval architecture and exterior design comes from the drawing boards of Cantieri Navali Solimano, while Owner is responsible for her interior design.

Design & Construction
Designed around a displacement steel hull and superstructure she features a 7.32m beam and a 4.5m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 170 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Exterior Design
The exterior design of SANTANDREA has the sturdy appearance of a tugboat but with a luxurious twist. The expansive aft deck features a large sunbathing area and a comfortable lounge space, ideal for enjoying views during voyages. The deck can accommodate up to eight guests for dining under the stars.
The upper deck houses two tenders, easily launched with a robust crane, and includes a private sunbathing area. The portside deck provides entry to the engine room, while the starboard side features a hydraulic boarding passerelle, allowing for easy boarding. The design focuses on functionality and comfort, providing guests with various spaces to relax and enjoy their journey.
Interior Design
The interior design of SANTANDREA is classic and practical, aligning with its rugged exterior, clad throughout in wood panelling. The salon is a key feature, equipped with a bar and an L-shaped sofa arranged around a convertible coffee table that also functions as a dining table. A sideboard housing a TV and an entertainment system complements this area, providing a central space for relaxation and socializing.
Adjoining the salon, a corridor leads to the fully equipped stainless steel galley. This area is designed for efficiency and functionality, featuring modern appliances and a crew dining space. The galley also includes a dedicated exit to the portside deck, facilitating easy movement and service.
The wheelhouse is outfitted with advanced navigation and communication technology, ensuring safe and efficient voyages. This area is designed for practicality, allowing for clear and concise operations.
Accommodation
SANTANDREA, crafted by Cantieri Navali Solimano, provides luxurious accommodation for nine guests across four modern staterooms, each equipped with ensuite facilities featuring showers.
The owner's suite is located on the main deck and is furnished with two spacious twin beds. This suite ensures that guests experience maximum comfort and privacy.
Accessed via a dedicated staircase, the additional three guest staterooms are intelligently designed to cater to various needs. Two of these staterooms feature bunk beds, making them ideal for families or groups. The third guest stateroom, positioned amidships, is larger and includes twin beds along with an additional pullman berth, offering flexibility for different guest configurations.
The crew quarters are designed with functionality and comfort in mind, consisting of two ensuite cabins, each furnished with bunk beds, accommodating up to four. These quarters can be accessed from the aft deck or through a passageway from the engine room, ensuring safe and convenient access during all weather conditions.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by 1 x diesel Caterpillar (3512) 1,589hp engines, motor yacht Santandrea is capable of reaching a top speed of 12 knots, and comfortably cruises at 9 knots. With her 56,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 11,319 nautical miles at 9 knots.
