The multi-award winning 54m motor yacht Serenity M.R.F was delivered to her owners in 2020 by Emirati shipyard Gulf Craft. Her interior design and exterior styling comes from the drawing boards of Cristiano Gatto Design, while Yankee Delta Studio is responsible for her naval architecture.

Design & Construction

Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 9.6m beam and a 2.25m draft. The yacht is built over 4 decks with an internal volume of 780 GT (Gross Tonnes). The design also incorporates a touch and go heli-pad.

Construction started in mid 2017. This was the first yacht built on the Majesty 175 design. Launched in November 2020 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months.

Exterior Design

The exterior design of Serenity M.R.F features a clipper bow, contributing to its classic and efficient silhouette. The deck is constructed from high-quality teak, ensuring both durability and a timeless aesthetic. The hull and superstructure are painted in a clean white, creating a cohesive and polished appearance. The boot top and below the waterline areas are finished in black, providing a striking contrast and a hint of elegance to the overall design. 

The foredeck hosts a 16-foot infinity pool with a counter-current system and a curved glass front, providing a versatile area for relaxation. Overhangs provide ample shade, enhancing comfort during outdoor activities.

The aft section of the wheelhouse includes an inside-outside seating area with a curved bar pod and sunpads. This area is designed with a retractable slatted panel in the hardtop, allowing natural light to flow in. The furniture in this section is movable, allowing for a quick transformation from a relaxed lounging space to an open area for social gatherings or live music events.

Interior Design

The interior design of Serenity M.R.F by Cristiano Gatto is characterized by a modern and relaxing aesthetic. The materials used throughout the yacht are top-quality examples of leather, wood, and marble. Notably, there is an absence of dark woods or overly ornate elements. Instead, the design employs pale upholstery, mirror-polished stainless steel, and dignified tan leathers. Simple geometric marquetry inlays and marble panels are used to enhance the overall look. The choice of materials also aligns with environmental sustainability goals, utilizing engineered marble and wood offcuts.

The upper salon is equipped with two 55-inch 4K televisions that retract into cabinets. Across the yacht, there are 14 flatscreens, each with its own satellite receiver and Apple TV box. The audio system includes Bang & Olufsen equipment and a Ku-band-ready VSAT Sailor 900 tracking dish, catering to those serious about audiovisual experiences.

A gym is located on the starboard side of the main deck, offering equipment for various fitness activities, all while providing views of the harbor or anchorage. The bathing platform aft includes a large transformer for easy water access and extends the area further. The beach club, accessed through the transom, is spacious enough to house two large couches and a coffee table, leading onto the tender garage and toy storage.

The furniture on board is largely custom-made, aiming for purity of lines and uniformity of style. Some pieces by Poltrona Frau are included to showcase Italian design. The yacht's interior and exterior are heavily customizable, allowing clients to make decisions about the layout and materials used.

Accommodation

Serenity M.R.F offers accommodation for up to 14 guests in seven suites. A standout feature of the Serenity M.R.F is the owner’s suite, which occupies an entire deck. This suite provides a level of privacy and luxury that is rare in yachts of this size. The forward-facing master suite offers 180-degree panoramic views, enhancing the sense of openness and connection to the sea.

The suite includes a private desk area, a bathroom with double basins set in black marble, and a spacious dressing room. The walk-in dressing area is designed with convenience in mind, with separate closets for him and her. The owner's suite also has private access to an upper deck dedicated entirely to the owner’s comfort and leisure, featuring a private salon and an aft terrace.

She is also capable of carrying up to 12 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel MTU (12V 4000 M63) 12-cylinder 2,039hp engines running at 1800rpm, motor yacht Serenity M.R.F is capable of reaching a top speed of 16 knots, and comfortably cruises at 10 knots. With her 67,330 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 4,000 nautical miles at 10 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters.

Amenities

In addition, adjoining the water, a beach club lets those on board enjoy the feeling of being close to the sea. Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort. Serenity M.R.F also features an inviting spread of sunpads and deck jacuzzi which provides excellent views.
