Delivered in 1994, Xana is a 45m motor yacht built by Italian shipyard Codecasa. Her interior design and exterior styling comes from the drawing boards of AMK Architecture & Design, while Codecasa is responsible for her naval architecture.
Key Features
- Extended stern, now measures 45 meters
- Enlarged windows for sea views and natural light
- Sundeck with jacuzzi and dining area
- New zero-speed stabilizers for smooth cruising
Design & Construction
Designed around a displacement w/ bulbous bow steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 8.5m beam and a 2.52m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 416 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Exterior Design
The exterior design of Xana underwent significant changes during its comprehensive three-year refit in 2021. The project, led by the Greek naval architecture firm Navinco, extended the yacht's stern by five meters. This facilitated the addition of new outdoor deck spaces, a garage, and a swimming platform and created extra internal space.
A notable upgrade to the sundeck includes the installation of fresh teak, which complements the new layout featuring enhanced al fresco dining and lounge areas. A drinks bar positioned forward and a newly added jacuzzi have been installed, offering guests exceptional sea views. There is a hard top for shade, distinguished by a new arch that subtly incorporates the "X" of Xana.
The exterior spaces offers total shade options if required. The addition of a garage significantly eases the deployment of tenders and toys, a task that previously posed challenges due to spatial constraints. This enhancement not only benefits the crew by simplifying their work but also enriches the guest experience by facilitating seamless access to water-based activities.
Despite these extensive modifications, Xana retains elements of her original Codecasa design. The classic lines and raked bow are preserved, subtly hinting at the yacht's Italian heritage.
Interior Design
In the spacious main saloon, guests are welcomed into an open and inviting area that integrates dining and lounging. The expansive windows, which have been enlarged significantly, flood the space with natural light and connect those inside with the tranquil blues of the sea beyond. The serenity of the seascape is mirrored in the color palette chosen for the interior decor—calming whites and taupes are harmoniously paired with earthy browns and grays, creating an ambience of understated sophistication. The sky lounge, too, retains its voluminous dimensions, offering an alternative communal area for relaxation or entertainment.
The galley has been relocated to the main deck and the crew accommodations expanded to ensure efficient service.
Accommodation
Xana offers accommodation for up to 12 guests in 6 suites comprising an owners cabin, 3 double cabins and 2 twin cabins. She is also capable of carrying up to 8 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
