Itama Boats History & Heritage
Founded towards the end of the 1960s by Mario Amati, Itama maintains an unwavering commitment to crafting classically beautiful, finely engineered, high-performance open-top powerboats.
The brand name itself, Itama, was created by spelling Amati's surname backward. Despite evolving with the times, Itama models continue to exude timeless elegance, staying true to a strong and distinctive brand DNA.
Owned and led by Amati until 2004, Itama underwent a significant change when it was acquired by the renowned Ferretti Group. Since then, it has operated in tandem with the similarly styled Pershing brand, sharing a shipyard with Pershing in Mondolfo, situated between Ancona and Rimini on the picturesque Adriatic coast.
