Archipelago Yachts has revealed the Archipelago 80, a 24m (79ft) explorer yacht showcasing sleek lines, sophisticated interiors, and a shallow 1m (3.3ft) draft ideal for coastal and reef exploration.
Supported by a beam of 11m (36ft), the Archipelago 80 catamaran features detail-oriented interiors, accommodating up to 12 guests and offering a lavish open-plan saloon with a bar and day galley as a central social hub. Customizable staterooms and an adaptable wheelhouse provide additional comfort and entertainment options.
A notable feature is the vast working area on the cockpit, suitable for expedition gear or leisure activities like sunbathing, with high bulwarks ensuring safety during navigation. Optional amenities include a davit-style crane for water equipment and integration of a Jacuzzi or paravane kite for fuel efficiency. In addition, a helicopter pad on the roof enables quick and convenient travel to other areas.
Environmentally friendly design aspects include potential solar panel integration on the spacious roof area, offering extra storage facilitated by the knuckle boom crane. With a top speed of 28 knots provided by twin 1,300hp MAN engines, and a pair of 250kW electric motors, the Archipelago 80 is tailored for cruising faraway destinations.
The vessel was designed for a visionary owner who shares our passion for pushing the boundaries of boating. I am very excited to see this project come to life and welcome the customer onboard for some unforgettable journeys at sea."
