Boot Dusseldorf preparations kick up a notch with two weeks to go

Now just two weeks away from Europe's biggest indoor boat show, Boot Dusseldorf enters the final stages of preparations ready for when doors open on 21 January 2023.

Scheduled to run until 29 January, Boot Dusseldorf 2023 is an ideal platform to see many of the latest models whether you are an experienced yacht owner or looking for your first steps on the ownership ladder.

Covering 230,000 square metres of space, Boot Dusseldorf has become a staple event in the annual yachting calendar, showcasing a huge array of nautical accessories, services and spectacular yachts for sale.

Making its return after a two-year gap due to the COVID-19 pandemic, expectations are high for the 2023 edition, with many yacht enthusiasts getting their first real chance to take a closer look at some of the models that have launched over the past few years.

Getting geared up

Set to feature exhibitors from more than 70 countries, the halls of Boot Dusseldorf cater to any and every need in order to complete a yachting package.

For the ultimate selection of engines, equipment and accessories, Hall 10 and Hall 11 should be high on your list during a tour of the exhibition. All the latest innovations will be on show with the representative stands, along with ample opportunities to speak to brand reps in person to get the best tailored advice on electrical particulars.

Take the experience further by stopping over at the Refit Centre. Situated in Hall 11, there's even more to take away from the show with talks and workshops around yacht maintenance and refits.

Arenaline fuelled fun

No yacht would be complete without an ensemble of watersports equipment and gadgets onboard. Boot Dusseldorf has all the experiences, gear, and knowledge you need to get a good grip on the basics of pretty much any watersport you can think of.

Hall 12 is the place to go if you are thinking of taking up diving. Pairing up diving and/or snorkeling with a yacht voyage ensures you can truly get the most out of every destination, and Boot can show you how to harness that underwater world. There are demonstrations and talks at the Dive Centre Stage, plus opportunities to learn about mermaiding and lots of other diving variations.

For something even more of a thrill, Hall 17 is where you find the surfing gear. Surf-style watersports include a range of thrilling hobbies including wingsurfing, windsurfing, stand-up paddling, wakeboarding, kitesurfing and skimboarding. Whether you're a beginner or have more advanced skills in the surf sports, Hall 17 is definitely worth a visit to expand your overall watersports knowledge and collection.
