Southampton Boat Show 2021 to enjoy redesign

Organizers of the Southampton Boat Show, British Marine, have announced plans to redevelop the layout of the prestigious event including an expansion and new show entrance.

Cancelled in 2020 due to COVID concerns, the 52nd edition of the Southampton Boat Show prepares a show bigger than ever before with dates currently scheduled between the 10-19 September 2021.

With outdoor events currently proposed to be back in full swing before September, Government guidelines around coronavirus in the UK are relaxing, giving British Marine hope that this year's event will continue as planned.

The 52nd edition of the Southampton Boat Show will be on a larger scale, thanks to additional land being made available for the renowned event, and organizer's are promising a very different look for the show, including a new show entrance at West Quay.

The new layout will see a series of zones that are tailored to specific areas of yachting. A Classic Boat & Day Boat Zone, Dinghy Zone and a zone with high flying watersports have already been indicated, plus new stages for live entertainment throughout the show.

One thing that will be left largely unchanged is the iconic Mayflower Park and marina. Still the main hub of excitement, there will be an extensive display of yachts for sale plus a curated section of yachts and exhibitors to represent every aspect of the marine industry and lifestyle.

Demonstrations and on-water experiences are also in place for the duration of the show.
