CPN launches 37m luxury explorer yacht K-584

The Italian shipyard CPN has announced the delivery of the luxury explorer yacht K-584.

The 36.6m (120ft) custom built, motor yacht was delivered on 31 July to an experienced Italian owner keen for a comfortable and efficient expedition yacht to travel the world.

The exterior of K-584 fits that description. Designed by Andrea Vallicelli and Alessandro Nazareth, the specially-requested raw hull finish has no fairing layer and gives her a durable look whilst at the same time retaining a clean and reflective surface.

On board the centerpiece is a bright and spacious saloon on the main deck, whilst her interiors, created by Pierluigi Floris, have an overtly modern but cosy feel.

There is accommodation on board for ten guests and five crew. An expansive owner’s stateroom can be found on the top deck, opening straight onto a private outdoor terrace offering wonderful panoramic views. The remaining accommodation is composed of two VIP and two additional guest staterooms.

“Looking at this brilliant jewel, K-584, leaving our dock and taking the sea made myself and our family so proud, a truly priceless moment”.

Her naval architecture was the work of Yachting Expertise and K-584 has Twin MAN D2868 LE 425 715hp engines that enable her to reach a top speed of 14.4 knots and have a range of 6,000 nautical range at 10 knots - impressive even by the standards of explorer yachts for sale.

K-584 also carries a six-metre Tideman tender on her aft deck, where a two-tonne crane can also be found for launching and retrieving operations. Designed to undertake some serious underwater journeys, the lower aft deck features a large swim platform, with an adjacent fully-equipped diving area.
