New ENATA Royale Cabin Foiler adds cabin to cutting-edge technology

The latest version of ENATA’s Foiler series of flying yachts features a useful cabin and several other Owner-specified features.

ENATA has launched the latest in its Foiler series of flying yachts which adds a luxurious cabin to its world-renowned foiling technology.

The 9.8m (32ft) Royale Cabin model has a cabin at bow and luxurious sofa seating at stern. The line of the cabin roof sweeps smoothly aft and merges with the Wing Hard Top which protects the helm station. It also has a double cockpit seat allowing the driver to share the piloting experience of the Foiler.

“We’re thrilled to launch the first Foiler with our magnificent Royale Cabin layout,” Says ENATA Manager Alois Vieujot. “It offers unparalleled comfort and great privacy, all within the envelope of our proven technical platform. ENATA’s aerodynamic and engineering expertise Has been fully harnessed by the Foiler to offer a safe, smooth and above all thrilling ride for discerning owners.”

Built with retractable carbon fiber hydrofoils, the FOILER flies up to 1.5m (5ft) above the water for a comfortable ride, and one that avoids the swell that most conventional tenders hit when traveling at speed.

In terms of performance the Foiler’s lightweight full-carbon build and twin custom-built V8 diesel engines mean it can get up to 28 knots in displacement mode or 40 knots when flying above the waves on the foils.

The Royale Cabin layout also features an advanced anchor system that drops smoothly out of a hatch under the bow. This means the anchor is hidden from view during foiling and below the waterline in displacement mode. It also features underwater lights for that extra nighttime presence.

The Owner also specified a towing point, for easy pairing with a larger mothership and chose Foiler’s boarding pole.

Singapore-based ENATA produces four layouts of its Foiler. The Venturi features a more open layout, the Azure which has added luxury deck space and a front cabin and the Royale which is based on a similar spec to the Royale Cabin without the inclusion of a cabin.

The foiler yacht made a splash when it debuted at the Dubai International Boat Show in 2018 and can work as a tender alongside a superyacht for transport and recreation.
