Bought by Monaco Marine in 2012, the acquisition of the marina formerly known as Chantier Tréhard was executed in order for the firm to meet the requirements of clients in the South of France.
Stating they know 'exactly what upgrades to implement', COO of Marine Monaco, Tanguy Ducros, speaks of plans which are nine years in the making and will continue to allow the Antibes marina to cater towards to the 30 - 40m sector of yachts for sale.
Situated in Port Vauban, the multi-million investment looks to expand the marina's hard-ground to include an additional 96,875 square feet of space for storing classic style yachts and other sub 40m models.
Also installing a new 300-ton lift to accompany the pre-existing 80 and 200 ton lifts, facilities within the port will be able to make use of a new workshop and enhanced guest amenities by 2022.
With such a timescale in mind, the completion of the Monaco Marine Antibes redevelopment could coincide nicely with the popular Cannes Yachting Festival situated just around the headland.
