Riviera Introduces New Yacht Models to the US Market

Australian yacht builder, Riviera, is expanding production to meet rising demand for its innovative yachts.

The Riviera 46 Sport Motor Yacht has captured attention, particularly in the American yacht-buying market. With a balanced mix of entertainment and technological ease, it's certainly worth a closer look.

At its debut at the October 2023 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, Riviera Yachts presented the 46 sports motor yacht capturing considerable interest from American yacht buyers. As the latest addition to the Sports Motor Yacht line, this model maintains the luxurious amenities synonymous with its larger counterparts without compromise.

Riviera's design team, in partnership with 4D Designs, has carefully crafted this yacht to offer a variety of entertainment spaces. The open flybridge accommodates eight guests comfortably, and the covered alfresco deck, located forward of the cockpit, establishes a seamless connection between outdoor and indoor areas. Accessible indoor galley and salon foster a social atmosphere, perfect for entertaining.

The yacht's thoughtful layout continues with an inviting sun lounge on the foredeck, and a versatile cockpit that expands when the twin transom doors are opened to the boarding platform. Below deck, the Riviera 46 offers three double-berth staterooms and two heads, ensuring privacy and comfort for owners and guests alike.

The new Riviera 46 Sport Motor Yacht is designed with a focus on onboard enjoyment. The aft gourmet galley and spacious saloon offer three dining options, catering to diverse preferences. The yacht's entertainment quotient is amplified by its generous 10.6sq/m (115sq/ft) of socializing space, a swim platform with transom doors, a barbecue, a fridge/freezer, a wet bar, and an ice maker. For sun lovers, the foredeck sun pad and the flybridge daybed provide ideal spots to soak in the surroundings in ultimate comfort.

Regarding power, new Riviera yacht owners can choose between the standard twin 600 hp Volvo Penta D8-IPS800s or the optional twin 725 hp Volvo Penta D11 IPS950s.

Regardless of the choice, each yacht is equipped with an 11 kW Onan generator, with an option for a 13.5 kW generator, to support long-range cruising.

The larger engine configuration allows the Riviera 46 Sport Motor Yacht to reach speeds up to 34.5 knots, combining performance with luxury.
