Riviera 645 SUV prepares for world premiere

Australian shipyard Riviera has announced the upcoming world premiere of the brand new 21.23m (69.8ft) 645 SUV, a model boasting the largest watersports/fishing area in the entire SUV Collection.

Scheduled to make her world premiere in April 2021, the 645 SUV is a customizable Owner or crew-operated yacht ideal for weekending or longer cruises.

Designed in collaboration between 4D design and the in-house design team at Riviera, this is the largest sports yacht yet from the Australian builder. Although exact performance figures are as yet unconfirmed, we do know that power will come from a pair of MAN V8 1300hp engines, with the option to upgrade to MAN V12 1550hp units.

The main deck interior is on a single level, with an impressive triple helm design leading to the salon and galley spread across the aft, the latter including an island for extra worktop and storage space. The overall design creates a broad, easy-living feel that mixes dining and lounging. Importantly, this layout also allows the interior to connect seamlessly with the aft deck and its expanse of social and more serious yachting options.

Set over a stepped design, exterior lifestyle begins with an aft deck lounge and dining area that is neatly and luxuriously covered by an inlaid overhang, offering detail, lighting and shelter. Down a level, we come to an open aft cockpit featuring aft-facing seating, a wet bar and barbecue. A useful social space whether underway or at rest, the cockpit is a superb working deck that will also find favor with fishermen.

Further aft, a hydraulic swim platform can be used as a tender launchpad but its size means it can double up as extra socializing space. At the bow, there is also an impressive foredeck lounge with seating and sun pads.

Below decks, the 645 SUV has a full-beam Owner's stateroom, with an optional two or three guest cabin layout, the two-cabin option creating space for a neat lower lounge that can also offer a convertible berth.

Scheduled to appear at the 2021 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show (SCIBS), Owners have the options to choose from a wide selection of interiors plus two design styles in either Classic or Newport Edition.
