Rosetti adds new 55m model to RSY support vessel to range

The new yacht will become the third in its RSY range of explorer yachts and will provide a spacious support vessel to any mothership.

Rosetti Superyachts has added to its RSY range of explorer yachts with a new 55m (180ft) support vessel.

The new model joins 38m (125ft) EXP and 65m (213ft) EXP models, with the range described by the yard as “the perfect link between the shipyard’s expertise in commercial shipbuilding and the world of explorer yachts."

Developed by HydroTec, who is also responsible for the other models in the EXP line, it is inspired by parent company Rosetti Marino’s extensive experience of building working vessels capable of operating in extreme conditions.

Chairman and chief executive of Rosetti Superyachts, Ermanno Bellettini, described the new model as embodying “the DNA of Rosetti Marino’s experience in the naval sector, offering the market a more comfortable and refined version of a commercial vessel, whilst preserving the core characteristics of safety and reliability at sea.”

The support vessel is used to support the mothership by offering additional accommodation for crew and staff, as well as for storing additional toys, tenders, submarines and helicopters thanks to a 224-square-meter open deck.

She also features a main deck saloon, galley, Owner’s suite and three double cabins. There is also space for seven crew cabins on the lower deck.
