Strand Craft reveals renderings of V8 Wet Rod jet ski

Strand Craft has unveiled all new renderings for the chic and futuristic V8 Wet Rod jet ski, the industry’s first V8 engine powered watercraft.

Originally announced in 2014, Strand Craft has spent the best part of six years running extensive trials to create a premium high-tech personal watercraft.

Advertised as 'the industry’s first V8 engine powered watercraft', the ultra-cool looking jet ski has been designed by Kurt Strand.

Aiming for completion before the Miami International Boat Show and Miami Yacht Show in February 2021, early indications suggest the new V8 Wet Rod will be joining other watertoys and tenders for sale at one of the 2021 North American boat shows.

With a prototype claimed to be in preparation for 'later this year', the only real specifications which have been released so far tell us the name is derived from the commonly used phrase hot rod, and she has a 6.2-liter supercharged V8 engine.

Although more details are yet to be released by the design team, the initial renderings suggest she will be fast on the waves, making her ideal for superyacht tender garages.
