Third 50m Tankoa S501 sold

Genoese shipyard Tankoa have announced the sale of the third hull for their S501 model.

Initially being constructed under speculation, the third hull was anticipated to have a fast sale thanks to the outstanding charter success of hull one, Vertige, and the quick sale of hull two Bintador.

Featuring extensive design input from Francesco Paszkowski, the aluminium vessel will have 500gt and is going to reportedly have a bold paint scheme comprising of a black hull and a metallic grey/black superstructure.

Advertising a top speed of 18 knots, the third unit has a semi-displacement hull with diesel propulsion.

This sale confirms the success of both the dynamic design by Paszkowski and our efficient technical platform.

In addition to the design efforts of Paszkowski, the owner has appointed their own team member, Casadio Miami to create a unique vision throughout the interiors.

Like the previous two hulls, there are key features making a return such as the generous beach club, the side loading tender storage at the stern of the vessel and the exclusive fold down terraces adjoined to the owner's suite on the main deck.

However, there are a couple of main layout differences which sees the interior dining option relocated up on to the upper deck, so the main deck aft becomes a sizeable lounge area. Another lounge is also included within the master suite, which has the option to be converted in to a further ensuite cabin.

Currently standing at 75% complete, the inbuild 50m S501 is set for delivery in the latter end of 2020.
