Wajer 44 draws design cues from its predecessors to deliver an impactful experience

Officially introduced in Amsterdam on April 17, 2023, the Wajer 44, built by Dutch shipyard Wajer Yachts was said to have already garnered significant interest from the yachting community, with over 20 pre-orders being taken before its summer launch.

At 13m (43ft) in length, the Wajer 44 is comfortably nestled between the compact Wajer 38 and the more spacious Wajer 55, making it an ideal middle option for prospective buyers. The yacht's design, a collaboration between Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design and Wajer Yachts, with naval architecture by Van Oossanen Naval Architects, draws aesthetic cues from the flagship Wajer 77. The attention to detail is evident, with its clean lines, retractable anchor arm, and integrated cleats, all contributing to a sleek exterior profile.

The Wajer 44's deck layout has been thoughtfully designed to foster a sense of togetherness among guests. The outdoor benches are arranged in a U-shape, creating an inviting space for social interaction and relaxation. This spatial arrangement is not only conducive to entertaining but also enhances the overall experience by bringing people closer together.

The interior of the yacht is just as impressive as its exterior. The vessel features a full double bed that easily converts into a sitting area with a dining table, making it suitable for overnight stays. The presence of a bathroom with a shower and toilet adds to the convenience. The pantry is fully equipped with modern amenities, including a refrigerator, sink, coffee machine, and ice machine.

Beneath the deck, the Wajer 44 is powered by twin Volvo IPS650 engines, which enable the yacht to reach a cruising speed of 26 knots and a top speed of 40 knots. The emphasis on a quiet ride is a hallmark of Wajer's construction philosophy, and the Wajer 44 is no exception, ensuring that your journey is as peaceful as it is swift. Backed by a fuel tank capacity of 1200 liters, the vessel is capable of a 300nm range.

One of the most notable features of the Wajer 44, however, is its commitment to connectivity and smart boating. The vessel is fully integrated with the Wajer Owners App, allowing owners to engage with their yacht remotely. Whether it's to check the anchor's position or to activate the air conditioning and hydraulic swimming ladder, the app ensures that the yacht is ready for its owners to step aboard at a moment's notice.

If you're in the market for a modern yacht that promises to deliver style, performance, and smart technology, then the Wajer 44 might just be the vessel for you.
