On Deck
Nick praises the vessel for its impressive deck space, seeing it as a floating island perfect for a day on the water.
At the stern there is sun pad that comes out over the engine hatch and there is an option of having a bench seat facing backwards instead. There are hydraulic rams that allow the sun pad to be tilted up for engine maintenance.
A great feature is the drop balcony on one side of the yacht, which provides extra space and a great view. Galeon have the clever design of integrating a swim platform into the balcony, which is usually lost with outboard engines.
Moving on to the seating area, there is a hard top that can be enclosed with clear canopies depending on weather conditions. Generous storage options and the galley area are situated here, and includes a barbecue, sink, and a good-sized fridge.
The helm position has height-adjustable seats and an adjustable steering wheel. Steering is made easier with a joystick and a Skyhook GPS feature to keep the yacht stationary.
The forward deck area is another key highlight, offering a great space for socializing. The yacht has wonderful practicality, with its numerous seating and sunbathing areas, making it perfect for parties and outings.
Interior
The yacht is designed mainly as a day boat or weekender, but it still offers reasonable living space. There is a small dinette area which can be converted into a double bed. The innovative window design allows for excellent views and plenty of light.
The boat’s switch panel, another fridge, and the heads area with a shower are all shown. There’s also an additional double bed below deck, a great feature for families or for leaving made up if it’s just a couple on board.
Performance
The Galeon 325 GTO has twin outboard engines. While the standard engine is 300 horsepower, this particular yacht has been upgraded to twin 350s.
In Summary
Overall, Nick is quite impressed with the Galeon 325 GTO, praising its design, functionality, and space efficiency.
