On Deck

Starting outside the yacht as the boat is in dry dock, the bow thruster, a propeller that assists in docking by pushing the bow sideways can both be shown. The IPS drives or pod drives are forward-facing, counter-rotating propellers. These are managed with a joystick control feature that allows independent swiveling of the pods for precise boat control.

Another interesting feature normally under the waterline are the interceptor trim tabs. Unlike the regular trim tabs that tilt down into the water, these drop vertically, making them faster acting. Also noted are the underwater lights that illuminate the back of the boat, creating a beautiful glow.

The Galeon 425 HTS features a hi-lo platform mechanism which allows the platform to drop into the water, enabling easy launching of a jetski. The platform features a useful shower, ideal for a rinse after swimming or jetskiing. The spray-painted finish and the large opening windows that connect the interior with the outside are both highlights of the exterior.

Interior

The helm position has a clever design, as it transforms into a lounging area when the boat is not in motion.

In the lower deck of the yacht, the galley and a cozy space are located, along with the cabins. The guest cabin has a practical design, with large windows for natural light and ample storage.

The master cabin has a central double bed, dressing table, and extensive storage. The en-suite bathroom has shower doors that create a dry section within the bathroom, a nice addition for a boat of this size.

Performance

The engine room houses a pair of Volvo Penta IPS-500 engines that allow the yacht to reach about 30 knots. There is a quick access hatch for daily checks, and the yacht also features a generator, wiring systems, and fire extinguishers.
