On Deck

The outside of the boat has the impressive look of the 2003 model. Stepping on there is a small bathing platform which leads to a cockpit area.  This can have side canopies to enclose the area in inclement weather.

The deep bulwarks, overhangs, and large sunbathing area are highlighted on the way to the foredeck. He admired the massive anchor and the view from the foredeck.

On the flybridge, there is a seating area, helm position, and bar. A large rib with a fifty horsepower outboard, perfect for watersports, and crane are positioned here.

Interior

Inside to the saloon, there is high-quality woodwork and a spacious feel. A particular highlight was the table, with high craftsmanship and detailing on the table legs. Pointed out are the full-size features of the galley, such as a full-height fridge freezer and high-end cooking equipment, including a Miele dishwasher.

There is a small bar area and side access door next to the helm, which he suggested would be useful for crew. The helm position, with its large wooden wheel and wooden finish are showcased.

On the lower deck, the cabins are a good size and very comfortable. The full beam owner's cabin has hull windows set in lovely woodwork, ample wardrobe space, a dressing area and ensuite with seperate shower. The forward cabin has a double bed, ensuite shower and toilet. There is another cabin with the bunk beds, which would be ideal for both kids and adults.

Crew Accommodation

This yacht has a crew quarters, which is accessible from the bathing platform. Of note are the private toilet facilities, double beds, and emergency hatch.

Performance

In the engine room, there is space and accessibility around the twin Caterpillar C18 1,000hp diesel engines, which can propel the yacht to a cruising speed of 19 knots and a top speed of 24-25 knots.

In Summary

Throughout the tour, Nick noted several features he liked about the Horizon 62 Motor Yacht, such as its high-quality woodwork, spacious feel, and superyacht vibe. He also appreciated the boat's practical features, such as full-size domestic appliances, ample storage, and spacious cabins. He was particularly impressed by the double beds in the crew quarters.
