On Deck
The Horizon V77S includes a beach club-style area at the waterline. The transom folds up hydraulically to seal this off while underway, but when anchored, it opens up into a sociable waterside space with built-in seating and direct access to the water. There’s also a raised aft deck just above it with further lounging space, shaded seating, a fridge, some storage, and a Fusion stereo system. A docking station is fitted aft.
Side decks are wide and safe, with deep bulwarks all around. Up on the bow, there's a forward lounging area with cushioned seats that double as sunpads. Backrests can be set flat for sunbathing or lifted for upright seating. Deck storage lockers hold covers and deck gear, and pop-up lights are fitted into the coamings. The anchoring gear sits right forward with good visibility over the bow.
There’s also access to the upper aft deck from the bridge, where you’ll find a barbecue and another bar area, as well as the crane and storage for the tender. Antennas, domes, nav lights and the TV aerial are mounted overhead on the hardtop.
Interior Accommodation
Inside, the Horizon V77S is all about comfortable family cruising. The galley sits at the heart of the main deck and has a home-like, country kitchen feel. There's a pantry that slides out, fridge and freezer drawers, a dishwasher, and full cooking facilities including sink and oven. A small bar sits opposite with bar stools and casual seating.
The saloon is an open-plan space with large windows and side deck access through a sliding door. The area includes a wine cooler and AV systems, with storage discreetly built in. Lighting and wood finishes give a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
Up on the bridge deck, there’s a helm with twin helm chairs, triple Garmin displays, and controls for engines, thrusters, tabs, and anchor handling. Behind the helm is another sociable space, with lounge seating, a pop-down TV, a drinks fridge, and more storage. A day head is also located here for convenience.
Owner's Cabin
The owner's suite sits aft on the lower deck and takes full advantage of the yacht’s beam. There’s a large walk-in wardrobe to port, and an en suite bathroom to starboard with pocket doors, separate shower and toilet areas, and mirrored storage. Lighting, woodwork and overall volume match what you’d expect from larger yachts. A small settee and additional stowage complete the space.
Guest Accommodation
The V77S features a four-cabin layout, all on the lower deck. The VIP cabin is forward, with a centreline double berth, wardrobe storage, AV equipment and an en suite that doubles as a day head for guests and the smaller cabin nearby.
Cabin three is a twin with its own en suite and wardrobes tucked behind the entrance. Cabin four, the smallest, is still generous for its category and uses the shared bathroom (linked to the VIP/day head). All cabins benefit from solid headroom, good lighting, and quality joinery.
Crew Accommodation
Down by the transom, there’s a dedicated crew area that also suits occasional guest use. Though this boat might ordinarily be owner-operated, the space is well equipped, with two berths, a fridge, microwave, air conditioning, Sonos audio, and a large wardrobe. The adjoining bathroom includes a shower, and it’s ideally placed for use from the beach club when guests are swimming or relaxing at the waterline.
Performance
Access to the engine room is straightforward - no ladders to climb. Inside, there’s full standing headroom and excellent visibility across all systems. The yacht runs on twin Caterpillar C18A engines, each producing 1,150hp. This gives a top speed of around 24 knots and a cruising speed of 20 knots. At a slower pace of 10 knots, the yacht has a range of roughly 600 nautical miles.
The engine bay includes shaft drives, shore power handling kit, illuminated sight gauges for fuel levels, twin generators, air conditioning units, and an air compressor. Systems are well organised with hydraulic units and weather gear easily accessible.
In Summary
The Horizon V77S fits all the large yacht features into a 23.5m (77ft) hull. It’s compact only in comparison to larger superyachts, but the sense of volume, finish, and functionality punches well above its length. Wide side decks, a proper beach club, a central galley, and a full-beam owner’s suite reflect that. Crew accommodation and a well-laid-out engine room add to its practicality. Whether run by an owner or with help from crew, it’s a capable, sociable yacht built with the same mindset as Horizon’s larger models.
