The Nordstar 33+ is built in Finland and is a practical, all-weather boat evident from its forward-sloping windscreen. The boat offers an internal helm with side doors for ease of use and a hinged section for stepping out easily, complete with conveniently positioned cleats. The aft cockpit includes comfortable seating and large rear doors, significantly opening up the space.

A spacious bathing platform highlights the practical Scandinavian design, featuring a sturdy rubber buffer around the boat. There's easy hatch access on the bathing platform for servicing props, complemented by drive tilt functionality. Fender storage is positioned across the back, and the decks are notably practical and accessible, featuring electric and manual bilge pumps, a deck wash system, and a hidden shower.

The Nordstar 33+ also has secure walk-around decks with high rails, bulwarks, and handrails for safety. The helm has side doors, enabling direct access to throttle controls and a bow thruster from outside. At the bow, there's an owner-specced seating area, anchor winch, anchor locker with covered switches, and an overhead light bar with an antenna. Side gates and strategically placed diesel filler enhance practicality further.

Large rear doors connect the aft cockpit with the interior for an indoor-outdoor feel. The interior features a height-adjustable table, storage-rich sideboard, and drawers. Seating is abundant, including forward-facing seats that transform into a dinette with an adjustable backrest. The helm position is ergonomically designed, featuring a multifunction display, Volvo engine instrumentation, practical switchgear, and a bow thruster. Additionally, the interior benefits from a large opening roof with blinds for managing natural light.

The galley is located on the lower deck and equipped with a cooker, hob, sink, fridge, and ample storage. The bathroom area offers a combined shower and toilet with a curtain divider. An alternative layout is available, placing the galley upstairs and converting the lower galley area into separate shower and toilet compartments.

Accommodation

The forward cabin accommodates two comfortably, featuring overhead hatch ventilation, side opening windows, a hanging locker, and additional storage beneath the bed. 

A concealed guest cabin is located beneath the saloon, accessed by folding away the seating. This cabin offers two spacious single berths with an optional infill to convert into a double. It includes a wardrobe, hull windows, ventilation, additional storage, and a mirror. The cabin also houses the distribution panel for circuit breakers, controls for the generator, and voltage indicators.

Powered by twin Volvo D4 320 horsepower engines, each 3.7 litres and both turbocharged and supercharged, the Nordstar 33+ achieves speeds of up to 40 knots, with a comfortable cruising speed of 30 knots and an estimated range of about 250 nautical miles. The engine compartment is easily accessible, with ample standing room for maintenance. It includes additional storage, fire suppression equipment, generator, and hot water systems.

The Nordstar 33+ stands out for its blend of practical Scandinavian design and thoughtful layout makes it highly functional in all-weather conditions, while interior spaces are smartly designed and adaptable. The concealed guest cabin makes it suitable for both day cruising and longer trips. Overall, it's a reliable, practical, and thoroughly enjoyable boat.
