On Deck

He began by highlighting the hi-lo platform at the back of the yacht, describing it as unexpected and unique. It included a garage large enough for a Williams 325, and a lightweight jet ski. The beach club area features a hidden barbecue, a seating area and a small crew cabin.

Moving onto the cockpit, there is a spacious area with ample seating and a solid table. The sunshade has a clever design that extends out from the back and a saloon area that could be closed off or air-conditioned. A standout feature was the movable bulkhead that, when opened, connected the saloon area and cockpit, creating a large open space.

Interior

Nick also praised the helm's design, which featured a button to open the roof, transforming the enclosed area into an open space. He was impressed by how it made the yacht feel more open and connected the inside with the outside surroundings.

Downstairs, the galley area was of a decent size and had a small adjacent sitting area. This provided a private space for morning reading or evening drinks. The guest cabin, with ensuite access to the day heads and separate shower stall, was also appreciated. The Predator 57 also has a third cabin with bunk beds and the full-beam owner's cabin, which were described as great.

Nick was particularly fond of the adaptable spaces on the yacht, including the small nooks for personal time and the panoramic views. He appreciated the owner's ensuite and wardrobe, and the functionality of the galley.

Performance

The yacht's engine, featuring D13 Volvo Penta engines with 900 horsepower each, was also highlighted. These would give the boat a speed of over 30 knots and was available on shaft drive or IPS.

In Summary

The yacht's versatility, in terms of going from a closed to an open boat, impressed Nick, leading him to commend Sunseeker for their work.
