Wally Boats History & Heritage

Founded in 1994 by Luca Bassani, Wally shipyard emerged from the vision of a scion of a wealthy Milanese family who embarked on the marque following the design and construction of a personal yacht.

Initially focusing on sailing yachts, Wally's avant-garde design and hi-tech engineering swiftly revolutionized the conservative marine industry. Transitioning to motor yachts, Wally made a significant impact with groundbreaking designs such as the 118 Wallypower, a 60-knot, gas turbine-powered marvel featured on the motoring TV show Top Gear.

In 2019, Wally Yachts joined the Ferretti Group, maintaining Bassani's leadership in guiding all aspects of exterior and interior design. Bassani emphasizes the company's commitment to innovation, stating, "We will always keep our soul as a company that brings something new and functional to the market."
