The first generation Westport Yachts Westport W172 was announced in 2019 and production ran for over 4 years. The second and latest generation Westport Yachts W172 was announced in 2024.
Performance
The latest generation can comfortably maintain a cruising speed of 19 knots via its twin 2,682hp Caterpillar 3516E A02 engines. In terms of range, the Westport Yachts W172 has a standard range of 5,000 nautical miles (nm). The Mk2 matches the performance of its predecessor, with no difference between their cruising speeds, and they are the same in terms of cruising time.
