Delivered in 2007, Al Faisal is a 37m motor yacht for sale built by British shipyard Sunseeker. Her naval architecture and exterior design comes from the drawing boards of Don Shead Yacht Design, while Sunseeker is responsible for her interior design.

Design & Construction

Designed around a semi-displacement GRP hull and superstructure she features a 8m beam and a 2.4m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 331 GT (Gross Tonnes).

This was the first yacht built on the 37 Metre Yacht design.

Exterior Design

The exterior of Al Faisal is characterized by its grey hull, which contrasts with the white superstructure, creating a visually appealing profile. Below the waterline, the yacht is finished in black, a practical choice for maintenance and aesthetics. The deck is made of teak, offering a classic look and a non-slip surface.

The aft deck is equipped with extensive bench seating and comfortable, removable armchairs, allowing for flexible use of space. The deck also includes gates leading down to the bathing platform and provides easy access to the garage. Al Faisal comes equipped with a selection of water toys, including two jet-skis, a water-ski, wakeboards, a kneeboard, a donut, and a large inflatable.

Moving to the middle deck, the yacht is designed for practicality and ease of movement. The starboard side offers access to the crew cabin and engine room, while the port side leads to the main accommodation. The flybridge and sky lounge area are accessible via stairs from the saloon, providing multiple points of entry to different sections of the yacht.

The flybridge itself is equipped with a removable sun awning, deep U-shaped seating, and a dining area. The space is also fitted with a professional stereo system and additional speakers, making it suitable for socializing and entertainment. A bar with ice makers and fridges is located here as well, along with a spacious sun area and jacuzzi. The jacuzzi can be covered when not in use, allowing the area to be utilized for other purposes.

Interior Design

The interior design of Al Faisal is characterized by its use of high-quality materials and thoughtful layout. The saloon features large windows that allow natural light to flood the space, creating a bright and inviting atmosphere. The furniture includes chaise longues, armchairs, and massive sofas arranged around a beautiful coffee table. The darker wood accents contrast with the light ceilings and carpet, as well as wood flooring, to create a balanced and comfortable environment.

Adjacent to the saloon is the dining area, which is equipped with a sizable table and numerous chairs, making it suitable for work, socializing, and dinner parties. The dining area provides direct access to the main galley on the port side. The galley is designed for functionality and efficiency, featuring a massive island in the middle, fryers, cookers, grills, Miele appliances, dishwashers, and multiple ovens. There is also a wine cooler, large fridge freezers, and additional service kitchens located upstairs for convenience.

The helm, located in the captain's cabin, is equipped with all necessary navigational aids, including bow and stern thrusters, Simrad systems, and CCTV. The area is designed for ease of use and comfort, featuring some of the most comfortable seats available.

The lounges and salons on Al Faisal are designed for relaxation and entertainment. The secondary saloon area includes a bar with an ice maker, drinks fridge, and tap, along with an entertainment area featuring an LG flat-screen TV and a PS5. Comfortable seating arrangements, including a huge settee, ensure ample space for guests.

Accommodation

Al Faisal offers accommodation for up to 12 guests in a spacious and well-appointed layout. The yacht features five staterooms, each designed to provide comfort and elegance.

Located on the main deck, the full-width owner’s suite is a spacious retreat. It features an island berth, offering ample space with a king-size bed. The suite includes a desk or dressing table on the port side and additional sleeping arrangements with cupboards on the starboard side. The suite is complemented by a large walk-in wardrobe, housing multiple shelves and storage options suitable for extended stays. The en suite bathroom is equipped with a separate shower, bath, and his-and-her sinks, ensuring a private and luxurious experience.

The lower deck houses the remaining guest accommodation, consisting of four cabins. These include two double cabins and two twin cabins. Each double cabin features an island double berth, a dressing table with a desk, wardrobes, and a flat-screen Samsung TV. The en suite bathrooms are equipped with walk-in showers and his-and-her sinks, mirroring the comfort found in the owner’s suite.

The twin cabins are designed with flexibility in mind. Each cabin includes twin berths and additional fold-down bunks, allowing for three guests to stay comfortably. Both twin cabins feature en suite bathrooms with walk-in showers.

She is also capable of carrying up to seven crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience. The crew is accommodated separately to ensure the privacy of the guests. The captain's cabin includes a double berth, an office, and an en suite bathroom. This cabin is strategically located adjacent to the bridge, allowing the captain to be readily available. Other crew members are housed in dedicated quarters with all necessary amenities to support the operations of the yacht.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel MTU (12V 4000 M90) 12-cylinder 2,812hp engines, motor yacht Al Faisal is capable of reaching a top speed of 23 knots, and comfortably cruises at 18 knots. With her 27,800 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 1,000 nautical miles at 14 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters. Her semi-displacement hull design means she offers a great balance of space and speed.

Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort. Al Faisal also features deck jacuzzi which provides excellent views.
