Design & Construction

ALP is the third of Heesen's 5000 Aluminum series, designed for fast cruising and compliance with IMO Tier-III regulations. ALP has eco-friendly ocean engines and a low-drag hull design with a reduced transom depth for enhanced performance. With a beam of 9m and a draft of 2.15m, ALP offers spaciousness and maneuverability while staying just below 500 GT.

Built under the name Project Jade, ALP was launched in April 2024 and completed sea trials in the North Sea before delivery to its owners.

Exterior Design

ALP's exterior showcases a curvy and sporty aesthetic that complements its performance-driven features. The downward-pointing, reverse sheer bow enhances visibility from the bridge, while wide openings in the gunwales emphasize its sleek profile. From the operational foredeck area, steps ascend to the walkaround upper deck where there is ample guest seating. The foredeck gracefully rises over the main deck before descending toward the stern, creating a seamless flow.

Extensive glazing on the side profile contrasts beautifully with the pristine white superstructure. At the waterline, ALP boasts a bold black bootstripe and a prominent strake curving from the bathing platform to the side decks. Square portholes on the hull ensure natural light floods the lower deck cabins.

The stern features a sharp cutaway and a large transom door that lowers to create a spacious bathing platform, accessible via twin staircases from the main deck aft. from where wide side decks maintain a flowing line forward. The upper deck aft deck features a visually intriguing scoop design that enhances guest enjoyment of views aft.

Chamfered sections along the deck levels forward create bold angles, accentuating the yacht's sleek lines as they ascend to the sun deck. Here, the black accent adds a striking contrast against the yacht's predominantly white build.

The sun deck provides a jacuzzi, ample seating, and sun lounging options, with an al fresco dining area and bar under the shade of the radar mast canopy.

Interior Design

The main deck features a substantial dining area with dedicated china storage, positioned forward of the main salon. The dining area is designed to accommodate large gatherings, ensuring a seamless dining experience.

The upper salon serves as a central hub for entertainment, equipped with sofas oriented to maximize the views from the yacht's large windows. A bar is strategically placed behind the seating area, providing a convenient spot for guests to enjoy a drink while taking in the scenery or watching the wall-mounted television.

Accommodation

ALP is designed to accommodate twelve guests across five staterooms, ensuring a comfortable and private retreat for all onboard. Situated on the main deck, the full-beam master stateroom offers a comprehensive suite of amenities. The stateroom includes four distinct areas: an office, a walk-in dressing room, a marble-lined bathroom, and the main cabin area. Large windows in the cabin provide ample natural light and panoramic views.

The lower deck features four additional guest suites, comprising two double cabins and two twin ensuite cabins. These suites are designed to be bright and comfortable, equipped with large windows that offer expansive views. The bathrooms feature black metal chrome detailing and black-painted glass accents.

Crew accommodations are thoughtfully planned, with quarters for eight crew members situated forward. Additionally, a double Captain's cabin is located aft of the wheelhouse on the bridge deck, ensuring that the crew can operate the yacht efficiently while maintaining their own comfortable living spaces.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel MTU (16V 4000 M65L) 16-cylinder 3,046hp engines running at 1800rpm, motor yacht ALP is capable of reaching a top speed of 23 knots, and comfortably cruises at 11 knots.
