Design & Construction
Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 33'6" beam and a 10'2" draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 984 GT (Gross Tonnes).
This was the sixth yacht built on the CRN 60 design. The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards. Launched in March 2011 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months.
Exterior Design
The exterior design of Light Holic is both practical and visually appealing. The yacht features a raked bow, which contributes to its sleek profile and enhances hydrodynamic efficiency. The hull is constructed from steel, providing robust strength and durability, while the superstructure is made from aluminum, offering a lighter weight and added stability. The deck is made of teak, a material known for its resilience and classic appearance. The hull is painted in a cream color, contrasting with the white superstructure to create a clean and sophisticated look. Both the boot top and the areas below the waterline are colored black, adding a sharp, defined edge to the yacht’s appearance.
The aft main deck entrance hall is noteworthy for its wide glass doors and sculptural cabinets, which create an hourglass shape that is echoed by a dark ebony and straw marquetry bar. The sundeck offers ample sunbathing areas, a stylish seating area, a bar, and a forward spa pool surrounded by sun pads. An indoor lounge with a television provides a retreat from the sun or a cozy space during bad weather.
The upper deck includes a 14-person dining table on the aft deck and a generous viewing deck in front of the wheelhouse. The technical aspects of the exterior design include robust equipment and integrated technical screens in the wheelhouse, ensuring functionality and ease of operation. The engine room is designed for accessibility, despite the challenge of maximizing space on the yacht.
Interior Design
The interior design of Light Holic, crafted by Cristina and Alexandre Negoescu, is characterized by its open-plan approach and fluid spaces. The use of reflective surfaces and natural light is a prominent feature throughout the yacht, contributing to a bright and airy atmosphere.
The main salon and dining areas are merged into a single large social space. The center of this area features an oval cream carpet, hand-shaved to mimic a seabed, with champagne and taupe furniture designed to complement the overall aesthetic. A polished stainless steel sun motif on the ceiling adds a subtle yet noticeable detail. The dining area is defined by a monochromatic theme and a multi-disc light feature.
The interior extensively uses materials such as bleached-grey brushed oak with stainless chrome insertions, white leather, mother-of-pearl, mirrors, and engraved glass. These elements are combined to create a sophisticated and warm environment. Art Deco-style straw marquetry panels in gold, moon-gold, and palladium leaf, along with platinum Sicis mosaics, add refined decorative touches.
The upper saloon continues the theme of flowing spaces, featuring white leather, etched glass doors, and a metallic and moon-gold sculptured bar. This area offers a more formal atmosphere compared to the main deck. The use of recessed artificial lighting and wide windows ensures that the cabinetry details and materials are well-highlighted.
Throughout Light Holic, the extensive use of natural and artificial light accentuates the dimensions of the spaces. This design approach is evident in the reflective surfaces and fabrics, such as moon-gold and silver leaf wall panels by Mériguet-Carrère of Paris, white lacquered ceilings, and velvet cushions, which contribute to a warm and lustrous ambiance.
A glass lift in the central lobby connects the lower deck to the sundeck, facilitating easy access between the levels. The sundeck features an indoor lounge with a television, providing a comfortable retreat from the sun or inclement weather.

Light Holic offers accommodation for up to 12 guests in 6 suites. The master suite is located forward on the main deck and spans the full beam of the yacht. It features a large terrace to starboard and a writing desk to port. The suite is also equipped with a sculptural bench and a spacious bathroom separated by a three-quarters-height mother-of-pearl tiled wall. The bathroom includes a spa bath, two showers, and two toilets.

Similar to the VIP cabin, these cabins also feature an open-plan design that enhances the sense of space and privacy.
