Benetti has launched the latest addition to its fleet when the eye-catching carinthia blue hull of 65m (215ft) superyacht ZAZOU hit the water in Livorno today.
The full custom superyacht, previously known as FB274, features sleek and sinuous exteriors designed by Giorgio M. Casseta and elegant interiors from Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design. Her owner, a repeat Benetti customer, requested the distinctive hull color.
Boasting accommodation for 12 guests across six cabins, superyacht ZAZOU’s sun deck is one of the largest in its class according to the Italian builder, featuring a gym, dining for ten and a private aft deck that can be used as an atmosphere open-air cinema in the evening. Elsewhere the upper deck is home to a welcoming skylounge and massage room that can be converted into a double VIP cabin. Guests will have their pick of relaxation and socialising spots ranging from a spacious outdoor area aft of the main deck to a large and bright living area amidships.
Superyacht ZAZOU also features a voluminous beach club area, which includes an enclosed area for easy storage of water toys, and an elevator connecting the bridges between the lower and the upper deck. A garage forward of the main deck can store a 7.5m (24.6ft) tender, two jet skis and a rescue tender.
The yacht has twin Caterpillar 3512C engines for a top speed of 16 knots, a cruising speed of 15 knots and a range at 12 knots of 5,000 miles.
Superyacht ZAZOU is expected to be delivered to her owner in the summer.

According to YachtBuyer intelligence Benetti has another 18 yachts planned for delivery this year, making 2021 an even busier year than 2020 when it delivered 16 yachts, two of which were over 100m (328ft), superyacht LUMINOSITY and motor yacht LANA, both of which measured 107m (351ft).
