Italian shipyard Benetti have announced the sale of 67 metre Project Fenestra to an experienced American owner. Penned by long term collaborator Giorgio M. Cassetta, the FB278 has been custom designed to cater towards the owners passions of health and well being.
Brokered through partnership with Northrop & Johnson, an international brokerage with offices in Europe, USA and Asia, the sale of the new six deck vessel proves that the popularity of the Benetti brand is continiung to spread throughout the American market.
In addition to the creative talents of Cassetta, the in house design team at Benetti have also had considerable input in to the end result of the FB278. Requirements from the new owner have all been met in as much detail as possible, including the request to furnish crew quarters with fabrics and materials of a similar quality to those used in guest accommodation.
This order, following on the heels of the North American delivery of Spectre and Elaldrea, custom yachts of 69 and 49 metres, is evidence of the American market’s growing interest in the Benetti brand. Benetti yachts have become the embodiment of high-quality Italian craftsmanship.

Capable of accommodating up to 14 guests at any one time in seven cabins, the FB278 has some distinctive features including an impressive beach club which has a bar, full bath, and an upward opening stern door. With a side opening terrace also attached to the beach club vicinity, an abundance of natural light highlights the area, making it an ideal daytime and evening social area for entertaining guests.
Other key highlights of the FB278 include a health and wellness area situated up on the sun deck, by request of the owner, in the form of a Jacuzzi, gym and steam room. A fully dedicated owner's deck has also become a focal point of the build, covering 1600 square feet and hosting a private lounge and bar which boasts staggering 180 degree views.
