Numarine has launched its first 37 XP expedition superyacht and also sold a third hull of the new model.
The Turkish yard has revealed the 345GT explorer yacht will be delivered to her Owner before then going on to make her World debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival in September.
The full displacement yacht sports a steel hull with a composite superstructure and carries the same DNA as other yachts in the yard’s XP series with large angular windows and a strong and powerful look.
As with her predecessors in the range, Umberto Tagliavini is responsible for her naval architecture and Can Yalman is in charge of her exteriors. The interiors of the first 37 XP come from the Milan-based Hot Lab design studio.
With the same beam as the 32 XP but an extra four meters added forward of the engine room bulkhead the first 37 XP hosts six cabins. A master suite is on the main bow, with four guest cabins and a nanny cabin on the lower deck.
The extra space can also be felt in the interior which has a number of social areas and there is an aft beach club with a bathing platform and inside lounge that sits almost on the water level. Her expedition credentials are impressive too with a 5,000nm range at 10 knots.
A third hull of the explorer model has also recently been sold and is set to be launched in August 2022. Hull #3 will feature a five-cabin layout and include a cinema room, gym, sundeck Jacuzzi and a designated beach club.
Numarine’s XP range of SUV style explorer yachts have proved very popular over the past few years and the 37 XP will be joined at the Cannes Yachting Festival by the 12th hull of its 26 XP. Although it is a production builder the Turkish yard offers a semi-custom level of choice to buyers when it comes to layouts, finishes and hull colors.
