The World Superyacht Awards

The World Superyacht Awards celebrate the finest superyachts of the year, recognizing and rewarding ingenuity and innovation in the design, engineering and construction of luxury yachts.

Usually hosted in May, the World Superyacht Awards have been held in a variety of different locations over the years including the popular European hotspots of London, Venice, Amsterdam and Istanbul.

Run by BOAT International, all yachts nominated for the World Superyacht Awards must have an LOA of at least 30 metres. Presenting around 17 awards each year across a range of categories, the event annually welcomes some of the biggest names in the yachting industry.

Some of the categories included within the ceremony include Sailing Yachts, Voyager's Award, Semi-Displacement or Planing Motor Yachts and Displacement Motor Yachts.

The judging panel for the awards is made up of current and former superyacht owners who have the final say on who will take home the Neptune trophy in each category. Making the World Superyacht Awards the only peer-reviewed yachting awards in the world.

Taking place over two days, the awards kick off with welcome drinks and canapés on the first night, followed by a glamourous black-tie gala evening on the second day. An event not to be missed by any superyacht enthusiast.
