Exterior Design
The exterior of the yacht Aquila, designed by Tommaso Spadolini, presents a bold and muscular profile with its wide-body design. This distinctive feature, with the superstructure extending across the full beam, has set a trend in contemporary yacht design. The exterior lines of Aquila are both aggressive and fluid, a combination that gives the vessel a dynamic presence on the water.
Aquila's black hull and superstructure are complemented by tinted glass, which contributes to the yacht's sleek and modern appearance. The expansive foredeck includes fixed sunpads, offering guests an area to relax and enjoy the sun while the yacht is underway.
Onboard, the exterior living spaces are designed for entertainment and leisure. The aft deck features a comfortable seating area with sunbeds, while the bow includes additional settees and sunbeds for relaxation. The upper deck offers alfresco dining capabilities, accommodating up to 12 guests, alongside a bar area for social gatherings.
The yacht's generous swimming platform serves as a functional and inviting space for water-related activities or simply enjoying the proximity to the sea.
Interior Design
The interior design of Aquila prioritizes both function and aesthetics, offering guests a harmonious blend of comfort and style. The choice of materials reflects a commitment to quality and durability, featuring rich wood finishes that create a warm ambiance throughout the vessel. Marble surfaces add a touch of elegance, particularly in high-traffic areas, while stainless steel accents provide a modern contrast, ensuring the interior maintains a contemporary edge.
In terms of lighting, Aquila is equipped with a variety of fixtures designed to cater to different moods and times of day. Strategic placement of lights accentuates the yacht's design features, from highlighting art pieces to illuminating the dining areas for an inviting atmosphere.
The main dining area is positioned to foster interaction among guests, with a layout that encourages conversation. Nearby, a well-appointed wine cellar stands ready to complement any meal with a suitable vintage. The choice of furnishings in the dining spaces balances aesthetic appeal with functional design, ensuring guests can enjoy their meals in utmost comfort.
