Delivered in 2007, Botti is a 26.25m motor yacht built by Dutch shipyard Moonen. Her interior design comes from the drawing boards of Art Line, while René van der Velden Yacht Design is responsible for her exterior design.
Design & Construction
Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 6.67m beam and a 1.8m draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 90 GT (Gross Tonnes).
This was the seventh yacht built on the Moonen 84 design.
Exterior Design
Botti, the third yacht in Moonen's acclaimed 122 Martinique range, showcases remarkable fast displacement long-range capability. Crafted with a robust steel and aluminum build, Botti's design emphasizes wide-body and high-volume spaces, featuring ample railings and wide companionways.
The bow's high, rounded design leads to a functional teak foredeck with prominent guardrails, while open fairleads add visual interest to the pristine white hull. Portholes on the lower deck ensure abundant natural light within the interior. The stern boasts a deep bathing platform accessible from the main deck aft by twin staircases. The hulls' quarter has integrated shell doors for easy watercraft access.
On the main deck aft, guests enjoy al fresco dining with a smart table and nautical striped director chairs, alongside banquette seating and built-in cabinetry for guest service. The upper deck offers an expansive guest area, featuring a Linley-designed Summit seating arrangement. Linley chairs with a striking black and blue pattern on white cushions provide ample seating around the dining table.
A sleek black bootstrap defines the water's edge, while atop the yacht, banquette seating forms the sun deck aft beam, facing a raised circular spa pool with teak surround and an open glass panel facing aft. A bar is curbed around the forward section of the pool to provide drinks to the guests enjoying the water. The canopy of the radar mast, supported by sleek black columns, offers shade for guest comfort. Stairway access to the lower deck is provided on the port quarter.
The staircase linking the deck levels is situated on the port side, while a launching crane offers operational functionality on the upper deck's starboard aft. Adding interest to the profile, a smart grill feature is positioned just aft of the nameplate on the upper deck level.
Interior Design
Yacht Botti's interior design, crafted by London-based Studio Indigo, reflects the Palm Beach vibe desired by its American owners. Bright and cheerful, the interiors feature abundant color, patterns, and textures, exuding a distinctly Floridian style. Every detail is meticulously curated, showcasing a strong sense of identity and character.
Jacelyn and Jack, the owners, collaborated closely with Studio Indigo to customize every aspect of Botti's interior. Custom furniture, dazzling headboards, crystal chandeliers, and unique design elements adorn each space, creating a bespoke atmosphere throughout. Teak paneling and stainless detail inlays provide warmth and contrast against exotic finishes such as vellum, shagreen, pen shell, and woven leather.
On the bridge deck, the sky lounge offers a 270-degree view and serves as a media room, blending patterns, colors, and natural materials like rattan and teak. A custom glass pendant light, reminiscent of the sea, serves as the pièce de résistance.
Despite challenges, including selecting the perfect marble, the result is exceptional, with flawless installation and continuity of veining throughout. Botti's interior embodies luxury, elegance, and a deep appreciation for craftsmanship and design.
