The 188' motor yacht Diamond was delivered to her owners in 1998 by German shipyard Abeking & Rasmussen. The yacht's exteriors have been penned by Donald Starkey, while Jack C. Anderson has designed her interiors.

Design & Construction

Designed around a full displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 33'10" beam and a 11'11" draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 1,049 GT (Gross Tonnes).

The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards.

Accommodation

Diamond offers accommodation for up to 18 guests in 8 suites comprising an owners cabin, 1 VIP cabin, 4 double cabins and 2 twin cabins. She is also capable of carrying up to 16 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (3516B-DITA) 3,746hp engines, motor yacht Diamond is capable of reaching a top speed of 16 knots, and comfortably cruises at 15 knots. With her 44,117 gallon fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 4,606 nautical miles at 12 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters.

Amenities

A gym with all the latest equipment allows her guests to keep their workout routines while at sea. Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort. Diamond also features a deck jacuzzi for cooling off.
