Design & Construction

Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 9.3m beam and a 3.2m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 694 GT (Gross Tonnes).

The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards.

Exterior Design

Central to the yacht's refreshed profile is a new radar arch and sundeck. The design implements a bespoke composite mast and a carbon-fiber hardtop, updating the yacht's silhouette to a more contemporary and assertive stance. This structural evolution is not merely cosmetic; it integrates the latest in maritime technology, ensuring that Juneluck remains at the forefront of navigational capabilities.

The extension of the stern has been executed with precision, accommodating a spacious beach club and an innovative swim platform. The beach club features comfortable seating, a bar, and an additional dayhead, providing an inviting space for relaxation and social gatherings at the water’s edge. The swim platform, with a custom extendable staircase, offers guests a dignified entrance to and from the sea, moving away from traditional ladder access.

On the sundeck, thoughtful redesign has allowed for the inclusion of a larger spa pool, a well-appointed bar, and a dayhead, creating an elevated lounge experience with panoramic views. The area is now an integrated part of the yacht's leisure amenities, equipped with a new hardtop for shade and enhanced privacy.

Attention to detail is evident in the replacement of teak decking throughout Juneluck and the application of a sophisticated flag blue paint finish that encapsulates the yacht's elegant lines.

Juneluck sports a modernized exterior with a bespoke composite mast and carbon-fiber hardtop, enhancing both aesthetics and navigational technology.

Interior Design

Central to the interior spaces is a collection of bespoke furniture pieces and notable artworks, chosen to harmonize with the yacht's existing architecture. These pieces are not merely decorative but serve as focal points that define each area's character. The artwork assortment spans a range of influences, from classical art deco to mid-century Scandinavian, with a nod to Californian modernism.

Materials used throughout the vessel are both robust and aesthetically pleasing, ensuring durability alongside beauty. The interior palette includes brushed rift European oak, open-grain black walnut, and fumed eucalyptus, paired with the lustrous sheen of patinated bronze and the textured surfaces of stones such as serpeggiante and portoro. These materials are selected not just for their visual appeal but for their tactile qualities, contributing to an inviting atmosphere on board.

The yachting experience is enhanced by the transition of the interior spaces, which are designed to facilitate a flow of movement and interaction. The main saloon and dining area, for instance, is a testament to this philosophy, with freeform furniture arrangements and organic shapes that encourage social engagement. The dining area, in particular, is distinguished by an amoeba-like dining table, pebble hardware, and a sizeable wine cabinet, all hinting at influences from the sculptor Alexander Calder.

In the pursuit of comfort and functionality, the galley retains its original layout but has seen upgrades with new surfaces and appliances to meet contemporary standards. The dedicated storage for glassware, china, and table decor is meticulously planned to optimize space and accessibility, reflecting a thoughtful approach to the yacht's operational needs.

The redesign extends to the technological aspects as well, with significant updates to the navigation system. The bridge now boasts a fully electronic, state-of-the-art rhodium bridge package by RH Marine, ensuring Juneluck is equipped to meet future maritime requirements.

Accommodation

Accommodation aboard Juneluck is tailored to meet the highest standards of comfort and sophistication for up to twelve guests, across six well-appointed cabins.

The centerpiece of Juneluck's guest accommodations is the full-beam main deck master suite. This luxurious space was completely reconstructed during the yacht's extensive refit to offer modern functionality and privacy. It includes his-and-hers en suite bathrooms, separated by a large glass shower stall, providing a spacious and serene environment for the yacht's owner. The suite is also equipped with an abundance of wardrobes and storage options, catering to the needs of extended voyages.

Below deck, the guest quarters are comprised of four inviting cabins, each refreshed and restained to breathe new life into the classic styling. These cabins maintain much of their original John Munford design, with added contemporary touches such as new mirrors and replated hardware. Wool felt wall panels, crafted by a Finnish artist, have been introduced to each cabin, infusing the spaces with a touch of artistic whimsy that echoes throughout the vessel.

Crew quarters have not been overlooked, receiving a full makeover to elevate them to modern standards. The renovations include a new crew mess, updated laundry facilities, and state-of-the-art galley equipment, all ensuring that the crew  of up to 13 can provide impeccable service to guests at all times.
