Project Cosmos is a 114.2m (374ft) motor yacht set to be delivered by German shipyard Lurssen in 2025. Her interior design and exterior styling comes from the drawing boards of Marc Newson Ltd, while Lurssen is responsible for her naval architecture.
Design & Construction
Designed with a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure, she has an 18m (59ft) beam. The yacht spans 4 decks with an internal volume of 6,300GT (Gross Tonnes) and is expected to become one of the world's biggest yachts.
Measuring 114.2m (374ft) in length, she will enter the Top 100 by length at Rank 44. With her high volume, Project Cosmos will also join YachtBuyer’s YB100, where gross tonnage is the primary metric, at Rank 32 - 12 places higher than her Top 100 ranking.
Exterior Design
Project Cosmos features a large aft deck, complete with a swimming pool & a sizable cut-out, ideal for hosting a large tender. Her oversized foredeck seems destined for a helipad, and an interior observation deck below offered panoramic views and informs the shape of her bow. Meanwhile, another observation spot is on her top deck in a dome shape.
