Delivered in 2014, Quantum Blue is a 104m motor yacht built by German shipyard Lurssen. The yacht's elegant exterior design is by Tim Heywood Design, while her interiors are the work of Alberto Pinto.

Design & Construction

Designed around a full displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 16.8m beam and a 4.1m draft. The yacht is built over 5 decks with an internal volume of 4,341 GT (Gross Tonnes). The design also incorporates a heli-pad.

Launched in July 2014 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in January 2015.

Exterior Design

Showcasing Tim Heywood's distinctive exterior design, Quantum Blue stands as a sharply styled yacht, boasting curves in all the right places.

Impeccably balanced, the yacht extends aft to create a sought-after beach club environment, while the foredeck hosts a helipad and a pool on the sun deck. The yacht exhibits a slim profile, gracefully bowing out with balcony side extensions that tastefully shape the forward section of the superstructure. The uppermost structure introduces slim pipes, elegantly angled skyward from a turret base, skillfully diverting attention from the necessary navigation and communication equipment.

Heywood has incorporated a subtle low curvature into the superstructure, forming a seamless line from the bow's waterline that gently ascends amidships before elegantly merging with the transom.  This creates interest and establishes a smart and understated connection between the yacht's movement and the water.

Moving just forward of amidships, the yacht boasts a sizable square inset alongside a slender rectangular one, creating an inviting aperture and a distinctive element in the lower deck's side profile. This transition guides from the lower deck's curvature to the square windows in the forward hull, promising an extraordinary play of light within the interior.

The yacht is privately owned with a high level of confidentiality maintained, hence no interior photographs are available.

Accommodation

Quantum Blue offers accommodation for up to 14 guests in 7 suites comprising an owners cabin, 5 double cabins and 1 cabin that can operate as twin or double. She is also capable of carrying up to 18 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel MTU (20 V 4000 M93) 5,230hp engines, motor yacht Quantum Blue is capable of reaching a top speed of 22 knots, and comfortably cruises at 13 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters.

Amenities

The yacht features a well-equipped gym, allowing her guests to keep up their fitness regimes at sea. Rest and relaxation can be achieved on board, thanks to a luxury spa. Ensuring everyone on board can enjoy the water to the fullest, luxury yacht Quantum Blue offers a large beach club connected to a swim platform, with plenty of space for lounging and soaking up the sea views. In addition, full cinema facilities ensure five-star entertainment. The yacht can house plenty of nautical toys and accessories, with a well-appointed tender garage for storing her impressive locker. Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort, while underwater lights create a dazzling light display when the sun goes down and an elevator makes the yacht fully-accessible. Quantum Blue also features deck jacuzzi which provides excellent views.
