Baglietto launches third T-Line 48 superyacht LION

Formerly known as Hull 10233, the superyacht has been sold to a South American owner and features some notable customizations compared to her two sisterships.

The third hull of Baglietto’s T-Line 48 has hit the water, with the 48m (156ft) superyacht LION being launched yesterday at the yard’s facility in La Spezia.

The 497GT motor yacht is a sistership to superyachts ANDIAMO and SILVER FOX, although with a different upper deck layout and some notable customizations at the request of the South American owner.

The new upper deck layout offers more space to the sky lounge as well as the outside deck area. A semi-circular window on the skylounge helps create a winter garden with a dining table for 12 guests.

The lower deck also features a refreshed layout, courtesy of a request by the Owner. Two large double cabins can be easily transformed into four double cabins thanks to a sliding partition wall, which effectively creates three real master suites. Another request from the Owner sees a crystal lift connecting all the decks, including the sun deck.

The 140-square-meter sun deck is one of the standout points of motor yacht LION, with the stern area with pool and tanning beds another. She also features a 46-square-meter beach area which includes a spa with a fully-equipped gym. The tenders and two jet skis are found at the bow.

Featuring a steel hull and aluminum superstructure LION is a collaboration between Francesco Paszkowski Design who are responsible for the exteriors and Baglietto Interior Design Team who, with the helm of Leonardi Santi, took charge of the naturally harmonious interiors.

Twin MTU 12V2000M72 engines give a maximum speed of 15 knots and a cruising speed of 11 knots, with a range of 4,500nm at 12 knots.
