British shipyard Fairline Yachts have revealed that they will be displaying four of their vessels over two British boat shows. Both scheduled to take place in May 2019, the London Yacht Show and the British Motor Yacht Show will showcase some of the most popular vessels from the fleet including the Targa 43 Open, Squadron, Targa 48 and Targa 48 open.
In addition to featuring some popular models from the British fleet, Fairline Yachts will also have a virtual reality facility at their stand, allowing visitors to take a virtual tour of the Targa 63 Open and the Squadron 64.
Another vessel available to preview via virtual reality is the brand new F/Line 33 which will be launched at the Cannes Yachting Festival in the Autumn.
Targa 43 Open
Taking pride of place throughout the duration of both British boat shows, the Targa 43 Open has been an award winner from the off, with an exciting win for Best Exterior Design 14 - 18m at the World Yacht Trophies in 2018. Design work from popular collaborator Alberto Mancini has made the 43 Open a sleek and iconic addition to the Fairline lineup, with a large sunbed over the tender garage and spacious cabins for overnight guests.
Powered by a pair of Volvo Penta IPS600 D6-435 engines, the award winning vessel can reach top speeds of 31 knots with admirable cruising speeds of 26 knots.
Squadron 53
Launched two years ago in 2017, the Squadron 53 is another Fairline vessel featuring award winning designer, Alberto Mancini’s expertise. Based on the tried and tested 53 ft hull, the stunning cruiser boasts a new kind of design for the fleet thanks to the efforts from Mancini, and headroom onboard comes at impressive 6ft 4in.
In addition to the generous space of the main deck, there is also space for sunbathing at the bow and a comfortable large double bed in the mid master cabin.
Targa 48 GT
Only showcasing at the British Motor Yacht Show, the Targa 48 GT is an agile yet chic vessel which features powerful IPS600 or 700 engines. Speeding through the waves, the yacht boasts several technologies which come as standard such as an electric hard top roof.
A spacious main deck allows owners to socialise with their guests in a well lit environment thanks to the abundance of panelled windows. Twin seats at the helm also furthers the social aspect of this fast and stylish number.
Targa 48 Open
Also on display to view at the British Motor Yacht Show, Alberto Mancini has done it once again with effortless style on the Targa 48 Open. Available in a two or three cabin layout, the upgraded design for 2019 can reach impressive top speeds with powerful IPS600 or 700 engines like the Targa 48 GT.
Socialising is easy with plenty of space in the lounging and dining areas on the main deck. A stretch of panelled windows illuminates the interiors with natural light.
The London Yacht Show will be taking place at St Katharine Docks from the 8 - 12 May 2019 and the British Motor Yacht Show is located at Swanwick Marina from 17 - 19 May 2019.
